Edible Christmas Tree Decorating Activity

I had leftover ice cream cones from Clara’s birthday treats (ice cream cone cupcake), so they were used to make this fun, easy , and yummy project with the kids… Each ingredient will have to be weighed separately to achieve a perfect 4:1 ratio.



1 mini ice cream cone (Joy Mini cup Cone -about 1.3g)

whipped cream (1/4C cream, 1/2t Truvia)

2 raspberries, cut into small pieces

3 blueberries but into halves

apple slice cut out into various mini shapes


Place the cone upside down on a plate (it helps to dab a little bit of the cream at the bottom to hold it in place)


Using a small spatula or a spoon, cover the ice cream cone with the whipped cream, trying to make a tree shape.


Decorate with the fruits!
